Greetings Divers, Sharks, and Knights!
My name is Jordan Solberg, and I am entering my fifth year as the 6–12 Principal and Athletic/Activities Director at Lake Preston School District. Over the past 11 years here, I have had the privilege of serving in a variety of roles — teaching MS/HS Social Studies, Health and Physical Education, and working as an Online Proctor. I have also coached football, basketball, and track and field.
I am a 2007 graduate of Dell Rapids High School and earned my bachelor’s degree in history from South Dakota State University. I later completed my master’s degree in educational leadership and administration from the University of South Dakota. (Go Jackrabbits!)
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, especially at our family lake house on Lake Kampeska. I enjoy staying active by working out, playing basketball, competing in amateur baseball during the summer, golfing, and attending sporting events. I am a proud supporter of the Iroquois/Lake Preston Sharks, Kingsbury County Knights, SDSU Jackrabbits, San Francisco 49ers, and Duke Blue Devils.
I am grateful to be part of such a supportive and welcoming community. Over the years, I have built strong relationships with students, staff, and community members, and I truly believe we have the best of all three. I look forward to continuing to grow our programs, strengthen our school community, and make this another great year at Lake Preston School District.
